What it's about

Normally you have to be online yourself to post on LinkedIn on time. Not anymore with Toolidol. Connect your profile or your company page and sign in to LinkedIn once to confirm the connection. After that you write your post once. Toolidol publishes it for you, even when you are sitting in a meeting.

Here’s how it works

Choose text, image or video, write a caption, decide whether your profile or your company page posts, then publish or schedule for later.

LinkedIn text posts

Whether it is an expert article, a job posting or a short update on the week: write your text, add hashtags and publish immediately or at a later time.

Image and video posts

Attach an image or a video. You can use the same media you use for your other networks, or upload fresh content.

Profile or company page

When setting up, you decide whether your personal profile or your company page posts. Both can be managed in the same Toolidol workspace.

A caption that sounds like LinkedIn

You can adapt your text specifically for LinkedIn so that it sounds more professional there than, for example, on Instagram. You enter hashtags in a separate field so they do not show up in the first line of your post.

LinkedIn and other networks at the same time

Simply select several platforms at once when scheduling, for example LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram or Threads. Your post is then published everywhere automatically.

Good to know Limitations on LinkedIn

These limits currently apply to the interface Toolidol uses to publish posts on LinkedIn (LinkedIn Posts API).

Role on the page. To post as a company page, you need a suitable role on the page (Administrator, Content Admin or comparable). Without this role, LinkedIn rejects the post.
3,000 characters. A post may have 3,000 characters. Hashtags count.
One image or one video. In the LinkedIn app, carousels made of documents or PDFs and posts with several images are also possible. Toolidol does not publish these.
Video length. Regular, unpaid videos (organic video) are typically at least 3 seconds long. On company pages, around 10 minutes are often possible. On personal profiles on desktop, it is up to about 15 minutes.
Images. LinkedIn lists JPG, GIF and PNG. There is an upper limit on the pixel count. Very large images can therefore fail.
Statistics and inbox. LinkedIn analytics and an inbox for comments are not available in Toolidol yet.
